Francisco Rego

Francisco Rego is an Adjunct Professor at IPLuso, specializing in Automation, Robotics, and Computer Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and EPFL, with expertise in areas such as nonlinear control systems, distributed estimation, and cooperative planning. He has taught courses including Discrete Mathematics, Programming, and Robotics Fundamentals, while also developing pedagogical materials and integrated projects.
With internationally recognized scientific contributions, he has published in journals like Automatica and participated in research projects such as MORPH and Flexcraft.
