Title: Decentralized Semantic Identity

Abstract: The presentation will be focused on four different topics: digital identity, Semantic Web, decentralization, and authentication. First, we will explore how blockchain and semantics could be used to allow self-sovereign identity and serve as the building blocks for a decentralized identity management architecture. Next, we move to the topic of authentication where we propose WebID-JWT, a decentralized authentication protocol based on the Web Identity and Discovery (WebID) and the JSON Web Token (JWT) standards.
