3RD INTERNATIONAL MEDIA LITERACY RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

The 3RD INTERNATIONAL MEDIA LITERACY RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM will be held in Universidade Lusófona do Porto on the 19th June 2020. 

There will be three strands of focus: Critical Media Literacy; Disinformation/Civic Media Literacy; Digital Citizenship, Policy and Training.

The four moderators of the 3rd international – Media Literacy Research Symposium keynotes were announced as follows:

David Buckingham, PhD – Researcher & Author of The Media Education Manifesto;

Jeff Share, PhD. – UCLA, Author of The Critical Media Literacy Guide: Engaging Media and Transforming Education;

Julie Frechette, PhD. – Worcester State University, Author of Media Education in a Digital Generation;

Antonio Lopez, PhD. – John Cabot University, Author of Greening Media Education;
