TITLE: Wireless Communications to Support Cooperative Perception in Vehicular Networks
ABSTRACT:
The work consists in the development of a cooperative perception system for autonomous vehicles based on
the integration of multiple access communication technologies and the Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) architecture.
Perception refers to the ability of an autonomous system to collect information and extract relevant knowledge of the environment. To obtain this information there are two main approaches: through sensors of perception and cooperative perception.
For the sharing of real-time information about the vehicle and the environment around the vehicle, sensors are installed in the sensor case. The perception sensors used in this proposal are: Lidar and Sensor V2X.
